1762

1762 was the year in which the 21-year-old Sabbath faced his final initiation into the Security Service. His individualised test involved him being bound, weighted, and thrown into the Thames, near St Paul's Cathedral. His task was to somehow get out of his bonds. If he did, he'd be seen as a valuable asset to the Service. After 15 minutes, he appeared to have failed the test. However, unbeknownst to onlookers, he had made his first contact with the Oracle, who freed him, and caused him to travel far down the Thames to Cambridge.
