- The Doctor is visiting the Det-Sen Monastery in Tibet when it is attacked by bandits. To prevent it from falling into the bandit's hands, the Doctor is entrusted with the monastery's holy Ghanta, and will return it in 1935. (DW: The Abominable Snowmen)
