Wilfred Mott
Wilfred Mott was an elderly [[[London]] stall owner and the grandfather of companion Donna Noble. He is the father of Sylvia Noble.
Biography
Wilfred was residing in an abandoned newspaper stand in London at Christmas at a point where Earth was aware of alien life and the threat they pose especially at Christmas. He claims to be the only person who has remained in London apart from Queen Elizabeth II as everyone else has fled to the countryside. The Doctor and Astrid Peth talked to him about why London was abandoned. He was angered by the Titanic hurtling over London. (DW: Voyage of the Damned) An amateur astronomer, he pitched a tent in the house of hid daughter's backyard in Chiswick spent most of his nights on top of a hill watching out for aliens among the stars. Donna waved to him from the TARDIS while flying away with the Doctor. This made him happy that Donna had found something she wanted. (DW: Partners in Crime)
Behind the Scenes
He is played by actor Bernard Cribbins and first appeared in Voyage of the Damned. Doctor Who Producer Phil Collinson has reported that he will be a recurring character throughout the fourth series.
