1430 was the year at which Barbara Wright estimated the time of death of a man she and Susan once found just outside the TARDIS. She did so based upon her knowledge of the Aztec Empire, which allowed her to identify the trinkets alongside the corpse as coming from what she called the Aztecs' "early period". Barbara would quickly understand that the remains were those of Yetaxa, a figure of god-like importance to the Aztecs. (DW: The Aztecs; DWN: The Aztecs)
