The seventeenth season of Doctor Who ran between 1st September 1979 and 20th September 1980. Tom Baker continued as the Doctor, and K-9 continued as a companion. It also featured Lalla Ward as the second regeneration of Romana.
It consisted of 5 stories and 20 episodes, plus the un-aired Shada

- (Unfinished, Not Broadcast. Although existing material with linking narration was released on video along with a script book by the BBC and clips from the story were used in DW: The Five Doctors)
