Forum:New infoboxes and you
If this thread's title doesn't specify it's spoilery, don't bring any up.
If you've been paying attention this weekend, you'll have noticed that we've finally started moving to standardized infoboxes. Obviously, the inclination is going to be to "kick the tires" and try it out. However, this implementation is a complicated process, that's going to require several bot runs and a whole bunch of time.
Please do not start manually editing or correcting infoboxes. I realise that the infobox changeover will result in pages temporarily displaying some errors. Your manual edits could impair bot replacement. There will definitely come a time where lots of manual help will be required, but that time is not now. I'll send up a flair when the bot has done all it can do, in about a week or so.
Please instead list the problems you're seeing in this thread. The chances are that if you see a problem on one page, it will exist on a lot of pages, meaning that a simple bot run can fix it. Listing the problems here gives me a more orderly plan of attack.
Also if you have a thought on a variable that you think an infobox is missing, please add it to this thread.
