Garron
Garron was an Earth con-artist who originally hailed from Hackney Wick. Garron was forced to flee Earth after he refused to sell the Sydney Opera House to a wealthy Arab.
Biography
Garron and his younger assistant, Unstoffe, embarked on a career as galactic swindlers, selling planets to unsuspected victims. Garron tried selling Ribos to the Graff Vynda-K using a lump of jethrik, which turned out to be the first segment to the Key to Time. When the Graff found out the truth, Garron and the Fourth Doctor were forced to work togther. Garron eventually ended up with the Graff's spaceship, filled with eighteen years of plunder, although the Doctor took the jethrik from him despite Garron's attempt to steal it back. Personality
Although he was a greedy con artist, Garron did have a conscience although he claimed that he occasionally had to fight with it. He became an ally of the Doctor and even hugged him after their adventure but attempted to steal the jethrik whilst doing so, showing that although he and the Doctor had worked together he still considered the Doctor to just be another person he could make money from. He was frustrated when the Doctor swapped the jethrik for an ordinary stone, despite the fact that he did the same sort of thing all the time. Unstoffe even called him a hypocrite.
