Manisha Purkayastha was a friend of Ace. She was wounded in a firebombing by racists circa 1983. Enraged by this, Ace burned down Gabriel Chase. (TV: Ghost Light)

Accounts differed as to whether she "nearly" (PROSE: Timewyrm: Apocalypse) or actually did (PROSE: Blood Heat) die.
