The Deca was a group of ten young rebellious Gallifreyans at the Academy, which included the Doctor. The Deca finished when the Doctor betrayed the group by leaving Gallifrey.
The Doctor (known as Theta Sigma at the time), the Master (then named Koschei), the Monk (then known as Mortimus, the Rani (then named Ushas), the War Chief (originally Magnus), Magnus and Drax would all eventually become renegade Time Lords.
