Small Worlds fairies[[edit]]
Don't they seem like they're basically the same species as the Fairies of Small Worlds? They were also called "fairies" among other names in the novel, were native to Earth, and had other similar characteristics. JagoAndLitefoot ☎ 17:33, December 17, 2015 (UTC)
- Without in-universe confirmation, you can't make the link. The text suggesting a connection should be removed as it is supposition.--Skittles the hog - talk 18:28, December 17, 2015 (UTC)
- I think the fact that both are stated to have inspired the legendary fairies, both are also known as fairies themselves, and to have similar abilities is enough to at least mention them in each other's articles, even if we don't say that they're connected. True. There's obviously no authorial intent for them to be the same. You could have a sentence that reads something like: "Torchwood Three encountered a species that also inspired fairy mythology...", with a suitable counterpart on the fairy page.--Skittles the hog - talk 18:49, December 17, 2015 (UTC)
- How about the current version? It notes that the species had similar abilities and were said to be responsible for the legends of fairies, but I removed speculation on the relationship between the two. JagoAndLitefoot ☎ 18:59, December 17, 2015 (UTC)
Looks good to me.--Skittles the hog - talk 19:01, December 17, 2015 (UTC)
