The Corsair travelled in an unseen TARDIS, which was destroyed and eaten by House, the entity draining it of its artron energy after removing its matrix. The remains of the TARDIS were presumably scattered across the surface of the asteroid that was House, and was presumably the last TARDIS to be devoured before House summoned the Eleventh Doctor to the bubble universe where The Doctor's TARDIS would be consumed.
