Why did I get blocked but not BananaClownMan? It takes two to tango. Or, in this case, to edit war. 213.123.3.79talk to me 15:37, April 25, 2018 (UTC)

No reply? 213.123.3.79talk to me 15:43, April 25, 2018 (UTC)

Hello? Anybody home? You were quick enough to block me! 213.123.3.79talk to me 15:45, April 25, 2018 (UTC)

Disregard that, the clown is now blocked. Thanks! 213.123.3.79talk to me 15:46, April 25, 2018 (UTC)

OK, now my block has been extended for 'calling him a clown'. Uh... I never called him that? When I said 'the clown', I was referring to the fact that his username has the word 'clown' in it! 213.123.3.79talk to me 21:11, April 25, 2018 (UTC)

Would you rather I changed it to say 'the banana' or 'the man'? 213.123.3.79talk to me 21:12, April 25, 2018 (UTC)

You wrote: "the clown is now blocked". According to Oxford Dictionary, the only fitting meaning of the word clown is "a foolish or incompetent person". This is a clear personal attack (see Tardis:No personal attacks).

To answer your other question, unless you know for a fact that another user is fine with a particular abbreviation of their name, you should always use the full username.

And while we're at it, please, in the future refrain from instructing admin whom they should block and how fast, as well as how quickly they should respond to your complaints. At least two admin had to clean the mess after your edit war. The reason for the block was supplied with the block itself. Don't expect any more time wasted on your feud. And remember: there are no winners in an edit war. Amorkuz 21:39, April 25, 2018 (UTC)

Yeah, no winners except for the admins who get to block people just for a laugh. 213.123.3.79talk to me 14:54, April 26, 2018 (UTC)
