Fireman Sam was a children's animated series on Earth around the 21st century. It revolved around the adventures of a human firefighter called Sam, his colleagues, friends and family members in the fictional welsh town of Pontypandy.[additional sources needed]
The Twelfth Doctor and Clara Oswald once met a fireman named Sam, who had insisted that he had "heard all the jokes" and that none of them are funny. (COMIC: The Hyperion Empire)
