Seamstress

A seamstress was someone who mended clothes for a living.

Rosa Parks was a seamstress in Montgomery, Alabama. She had wanted to be a teacher when she was younger, but ended up becoming a seamstress due to the ill health of her grandmother and mother. Mr. Steele was a customer of hers. She was also given the Thirteenth Doctor and Yasmin Khan's clothes to mend to ensure she would leave work on time on the day of her historic arrest. (TV: Rosa)
