The Great Mother was a deity that was worshipped as the mother to the Ockorans that guided them through their world. According to legend, the Great Mother was killed trying to protect the Ockerans from the Kalarians, fish-like beings that could breathe air, which led to their intense hatred of all air breathers.(PROSE: The Final Sanction)
