Bio-electric dampening field was a mechanism that, with the combination of a retrogressive arc inversion, could reverse the flow of electricity.
The DoctorDonna enabled this field from a console on the Crucible during the Dalek invasion of Earth in order to prevent Davros from hurting her with electricity again. (TV: Journey's End)
