Gender identity

Gender identity was an aspect of gender for which one might become a target of abuse.

Stonewall had a poster up in Hackney about abuse due to race, sexual orientation, disability, gender identity or religion. (TV: For Tonight We Might Die)

Behind the scenes

Gender identity is one's sense of their own gender, as differentiated from gender expression.
