The Ultimate Adventure was a stage play that the Third Doctor performed in. One one occasion, one member of the audience thought the show was great but the title sequence, consisting of the Doctor's head poking from behind the curtain coupled with hanging stars and letters that made up the words "Doctor Who", left a lot to be desired. Behind the scenes

In addition to Jon Pertwee starring as the Third Doctor, in the real world The Ultimate Adventure also starred Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor for some performances.
