We've got a couple of important quirks for a Wikia wiki, so let's get them out of the way first.
British English, please
We generally use British English round these parts, so if you're American, please be sure you set your spell checker to BrEng, and take a gander at our spelling cheat card.
Spoilers aren't cool
We have a strict definition of "spoiler" that you may find a bit unusual. Basically, a spoiler, to us, is anything that comes from a story which has not been released yet. So, even if you've got some info from a BBC press release or official trailer, it basically can't be referenced here. In other words, you gotta wait until the episode has finished its premiere broadcast to start editing about its contents. Please check the spoiler policy for more details.

Hi I guess you don't realize how seriously we take Tardis:Vandalism policy here. Even after I put a general warning, you continued to copy User:DiSoRiEnTeD1's comments to a place he specifically didn't want it after specifically asking you several times not to do it. Ah, apologies, had no idea. Still a little new to this, so when I saw Danochy telling him not to remove stuff and you chiming in with the same rule I just figured it was directed at him. In the future if someone asks me to not c/p their stuff, for continuity what do you suggest, just ignoring it? According to everything I see, you're unblocked. Maybe give it a little bit, then try again? If that doesn't work I'll get in touch with someone who understands technical issues.

Hi I don't really know how to make this any clearer, and you are definitely not the only one who does this, but you must stop interpreting other people's comments. If you have a question about what someone said, ask directly (either in the forum or on their talk page if it's off-topic). But please stop assigning meaning to people's comments. Maybe you don't realize that our forums attract a lot of new users who don't know policy, and there's no way to tell on a forum who is/isn't an admin; and the last thing we need is for new users to misunderstand something said in the forums, take it as policy, and edit accordingly. 1.2 Formatting

Okay, but... if an article is going to be updated anyway to reflect information that comes from content being released, then keeping an article of something that's not been released yet in the past tense feels like an awfully lazy way of taking that approach. This is literally the only wiki I've seen that does that, and the editing base of this wiki isn't that small. It would be more conducive to put in a template on an article of yet-to-be-released content saying "this thing isn't out yet" or "this is about material that has not been released" so it can be removed and the article accordingly updated than to have a completely ridiculous looking "this was released in August of 2043." --TenCents (talk to me!) 21:00, July 24, 2020 (UTC)

And I'm noticing there's nothing on that article that indicates anything about material yet-to-be-released. It's mostly about describing actors and stuff written in the present tense. Re:TLV/Edge of Time

It works the other way around. We don't add the speculation that there's a connection and only remove it if it proves not to be true. We keep it out because it's unconfirmed and only add it if it does prove to be true. The sequels and the tie-in content are mentioned in two different contexts in the news item. Claiming a connection without confirmation is unsupported. Wiki content is meant to be verified, not speculative, which means it's better to not include things that may/will later be confirmed than to include things that are unconfirmed and may prove false. -- Noneofyourbusiness ☎ 23:32, July 27, 2020 (UTC)

I don't misunderstand you. The Edge of Time has the original storyline that it launched with, and then it will also have some story updates related to the event. Like collaboration events in Final Fantasy XIV, which are discrete from the main storyline. The trilogy of experiences will most likely only relate to the Edge of Time's original story. At least, the main storyline is all that we know for sure the other games will relate to, and thus all we can state with certainty on the wiki. There is no inference connecting the sequel games to a continuation of the event-related story content to be drawn from the language in the news article. That's what makes it speculation to claim that they will relate. What you didn't realize is that the entire Edge of Time story is not part of the TLV event, only the particular tie-in story updates in question. So being a connected trilogy with Edge of Time does not in itself make the other games part of TLV. -- Noneofyourbusiness ☎ 23:52, July 28, 2020 (UTC)
If the TLV-related story updates to The Edge of Time are only sidequests, as seems likely, then the other two games should not be mentioned on the Time Lord Victorious page unless they relate to those particular sidequests, even under Notes, because they're not relevant to the TLV event unless they do. So standard procedure is that we wait and see before mentioning them on the page so as not to jump the gun. If something happens like "Artemisia in Sequel Game 2 refers to the Conquest of the Trowellians, which occurred in the Time Lord Victorious sidestory added to The Edge of Time", that would be appropriate to put under Notes on the TLV page, because it wouldn't be directly part of the event but it would be relevant. -- Noneofyourbusiness ☎ 00:24, July 29, 2020 (UTC)
Again, the other games synergizing with The Edge of Time does not mean they synergize with Time Lord Victorious. It is not noteworthy until we know they do. Everything The Edge of Time-related is not Time Lord Victorious-related by definition. Their stories may have nothing to do with the TLV sidequests. Which would only make them connected to something that's connected to TLV, not directly connected like the cover reference you mentioned is a direct reference. That wording emphasizes the Edge of Time experiential aspect. That's not in dispute. You're still getting hung up on equating The Edge of Time with Time Lord Victorious. The Edge of Time quests that have already been released (about The First) are not part of TLV, and if the other games only form a trilogy of experiences about The First they won't be either.
