Inebriation

Inebriation, (PROSE: The Sorcerer's Apprentice) commonly known as being drunk or being intoxicated and also known as being hammered, bladdered, wankered, shit-faced, (AUDIO: Smashed) and pissed (AUDIO: Wildthyme at Large) was a mental state produced by alcohol that changed an individual's behaviour.

It was illegal for under-age individuals to be drunk, and bouncers could get in trouble if it happened. (AUDIO: One Rule)

Owen Harper could not get drunk after his death and subsequent resurrection. (TV: Reset, Dead Man Walking)

Gwen Cooper hoped that the Nostrovite egg inside her body was a hallucination from her getting drunk on her hen night. Captain Jack Harkness confirmed it was not. (TV: Something Borrowed) Jack actually reported getting drunk on Hypervodkas before his execution and how he ended up in bed with his executioners. (TV: The Doctor Dances)

As Susan once told Ian Chesterton, Gallifreyans could only get inebriated if they chose to, regardless of how much they drank. (PROSE: The Sorcerer's Apprentice)
