Simon was the son of a man who threw a brick at a Dalek during the Dalek invasion of Earth in 2009.
Biography
Simon, his father and his mother ran back into their house, but were all killed by the Daleks, who used "maximum extermination" to destroy the house, leaving no survivors. (TV: The Stolen Earth)
