Why is the name "Lance of Longinus" preferred over "Spear of Destiny" or "Gungnir"? Shambala108 ☎ 00:10, August 28, 2019 (UTC)
- Gungnir and Lance of Longinus are two independently interesting mythological concepts that happen to be combined into a single object in the DWU, but "Lance of Longinus" is much more frequently used in the DWU (as you might guess from the title of Project: Longinus). – n8 (☎) 18:27, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
- Plus the name "Lance of Longinus" is immediately indicative of the content of the page, and Gungir and Spear of Destiny aren't quite as clear. Could an admin also enact the page rename too please? 09:26, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
- Additionally, having this page at "Lance of Longinus" would also future-proof the article, in case if Gungir or the Spear of Destiny are depicted in a story as not being the same concepts, thus being split off. 10:32, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
