The Department was a clandestine Government agency that ruled over Mid-21st Century London with an iron fist. It crushed any rebellion and enforced it's will through an army of deadly Police Robots. It had complete and utter control over the people's lives and put all it's time and money into alien research. Some of it's more psychopathic members included Agent Drake and Agent Thorne. Jorjie's mom, June Turner was a member as was Professor Gryffen and Darius Pike.
