Sausage and chips was a meal consisting of sausages and chips. The Tenth Doctor once gave Frank Openshaw a Dalek gunstick and told him to go home, watch Brainteaser, and eat sausage and chips. (PROSE: I Am A Dalek)
It was seemingly among the products sold at a chip shop which Graham O'Brien visited, as an image of it was featured on a poster in the shop, with the word "sausage" in white, and a message beneath beginning with "The only ch". (TV: The Universe is Calling)
