Craig Owens
Craig Owens along with his flatmate, Sophie, took on a new lodger in their flat. When the lodger turned out to be the Doctor he helped them solve the mystery of the flat above them on Aickman Road. Feeling that the Doctor was ruining his life, he tried to make him move out, until the Doctor implanted information about himself in Craig's head. He was able to destroy the alien ship by thinking about how he wanted to stay with Sophie, as the ship only wanted people who wanted to escape. He states that he "knows" the Doctor, and therefore knows he won't come back. The telepathic exchange he shared with the Doctor is implied to have imparted some advance technological knowledge. This may mean Craig has become one of the lucky few people, such as Donna Noble and Bayldon Copper, whom the Doctor meets and respects enough to leave with some manner of becoming incredibly wealthy.(DW: The Lodger)
