Behind the scenes

The retailer shares its name with a planet mentioned in the novel, Tragedy Day ^[+]Loading...["Tragedy Day (novel)"] (both of which are named after an Ancient Greek city). According to the novel, the Doctor once defeated Luminus there, averting "a catalogue of disasters", seemingly a nod to the retailers' famous shopping catalogues.
