June Turner
June Turner was an agent of The Department in 2050 where she operated as Professor Gryffen's primary contact with his employer. She was also the mother of Jorjie Turner.
Biography
June worked for the Department as the head of the Alien Activity section and supervised Alistair Gryffen's work with a Space-Time Manipulator. After the night of the explosion at the Gryffen House, she arrived to question him. She showed him the profile of Stark Reality who was arrested at the night of the explosion, Gryffen (who was hiding Starkey) acted oblivious as to the fact he escaped. She showed him a recording of K9 Mark 2 (who Gryffen was also hiding), she remarked him as "ugly" and that he had a "terrible design". This angered K9 who rised out of his hiding place behind June, as Gryffen argued about his design to reassure K9, he was put down by Starkey before she could notice. She also gave the Professor the directive to catch and turn the robot dog over to the Department and that if he failed or refused his funding for the STM project will be terminated, it will be dismantled and passed on to a more co-operative researcher. Gryffen told her there was no need to do that, she told he she hoped not and that she'd hate to take it away from him, but would if she had to. She then left. (K9TV: Regeneration)
When Darius Pike and Starkey were imprisoned in Dauntless Prison while tracking a Jixen warrior. She came in and told the Governor of the prison, Thorne, that they weren't to be harmed. Thorne was asserted his authority, June then took out Darius' communicator from his pocket and contacted Gryffen who asked her why the Department was imprisoning aliens. She told him that that the aliens would be catalogued and if any of their species committed crimes the Department would then know who to look out for. He argued that what if they're innocent, she replied they couldn't just be allowed to roam through London. Gryffen suggested to have them sent home, June told him that they tried and failed and then hung up. She then offered a proposal to Starkey, if he told her where to find K9 she'll have Starkey and Darius released. While Darius was willing, Starkey refused and so June left them to "enjoy" sharing a cell with Mr. Wiffy. When the Jixen ran riot through the prison Thorne locked himself and June in his office. However when she found out K9 was in the prison she demanded that Thorne release the locks, she took the locking device and unlocked the door herself. She promised Thorne that he would "never darken these doors again", as she left Thorne promised she would pay for this one day. (K9TV: Liberation)
