Zocci

Zocci were the species to which Bannakaffalatta belonged. They were small humanoids, with red spiky heads. (DW: Voyage of the Damned)
The Zocci look similar to the Vinvocci. (DW: The End of Time) However,the Vinvocci pointed out that they and the Zocci were different, sounding quite annoyed when The Tenth Doctor said to them:"I've seen somebody like you before,only he was little and red."
Behind the scenes
- The name of Bannakaffalatta's species was never specified in Voyage of the Damned but was identified by Russell T Davies. The name was confirmed on-screen in The End of Time, by a member of a similar species.
- Russell T Davies suggests the Zocci and Vinvocci might be related species. (CON: Lords and Masters)
