Howling:Omega vs Oh-meh-gah
In the classic show, the Gallifreyan stellar engineer who fell into the antimatter universe while perfecting the process of converting stars into infinite power sources, was not named Omega... he was named Omega. Oh-meh-gah. It sounded like a 12 year old girl saying "omigahd," moreso than it sounded like the name of a letter of the Greek alphebet.
I ask: is this distinction significant? Did Rassilon's pet nerd use Omega symbols in any way? Have they ever been linked to him in the show? Because honestly, as a classic series fan, Omega and Omega are two completely different words. To paraphrase Data from ST:TNG in a similar situation, one is a famous timelord's name, the other is not. Agonaga 20:37, June 1, 2011 (UTC)
