7 March was a date.
Following on from the events of the day previous, 7 March 2006 was the date of an attack on 10 Downing Street by Mickey Smith. The building was destroyed by harpoon missile, killing a entire branch of the Slitheen family, save Blon. Luckily, though, everyone except for the Slitheen and the Ninth Doctor, Rose Tyler and Harriet Jones managed to escape beforehand. The fortitude of backbench MP Jones during this crisis contributed to her ascent to power and the post of Prime Minister by 25 December.
