Karr
Karr was a Time Lord, and an old friend to Doctor Who by his third incarnation.
Though the two enjoyed each other's company, he made a point of only contacting the Doctor when there was some emergency. On one such occasion, he appeared on an audio-visual link screen in the Doctor's TARDIS control room and asked for the Doctor's help in dealing with Madrigor. After reminding the Doctor of Madrigor's disappearance from Gallifrey after his trial, he told the Doctor that he had "turned up again after all this time", tasking the Doctor on behalf of all the Time Lords with finding out Madrigor's purpose for coming out of hiding, and stopping his undoubtedly nefarious plans.
