Marine snow was a natural phenomenon which occurred when an underwater volcano erupted, and its ash began to settle in the water, resembling snowfall. Marine snow was produced by black smokers in Earth's Mariana Trench, which produced superheated water and hydrogen sulphide. (AUDIO: Submission)
