Re the proposed rename. I don't think it's necessary. We already have the dab term "number" for other numbers, and i is a number (it's specifically called an imaginary number). Shambala108 ☎ 01:43, August 20, 2018 (UTC)

I agree. (number) is a more specific dab term, since the "i" could, in other contexts, be a varialbe or a parameter for example. Having the current dab term automatically shows the reader what part of math this article covers. OncomingStorm12th ☎ 01:52, August 20, 2018 (UTC)
