Talk:Emily Cook

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Infobox image[[edit]]

Emily Cook interview, 2018.

(Note that a page like Emily Cook does not require infobox image discussion.) Just wanted to point out that a pre-existing image for this page is also available. It seems in the interim, someone replaced it with another image which does not follow our standards.

There's also a second crop available on the file page, and I could probably find the file to re-crop it. The issue I was having originally was cropping out the Thirteenth Doctor, since she hadn't been revealed yet. Hence the second crop in December. I do feel an image in which she's pictured in relationship to the DWU (here discussing the new Doctor) would be better than a headshot/selfie.

See, my instinct is quite on the contrary direction. The wiki's SEO is quite good, and a lot of our pages are for not-so-high-profile writers/actors/etc. This means often enough the images we choose will be the ones that pop up on Google and what-not. I feel like a headshot (or a headshot-like selfie/picture) are better suited for infoboxes than a screenshot from an interview or something like that. Obviously, if the article is large enough to accomodate it, we could and should add further images that display their relationship with the franchise. OncomingStorm12th 20:51, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
