Is "Fitzwilliam" really part of his name[[edit source]]
Is there anywhere that actually indicates that "Fitzwilliam" is part of his name? in The Taint his brother introduces himself as "Neville Fitzwilliam Tarr" once, but for Freddie all I saw when reading was his first name "Freddie" used twice and Muriel indicating that her maiden name Tarr was passed down through the generations from him. I don't see evidence suggesting Fitzwilliam is part of his name as it is Neville Tarr's name. Any idea if this is mentioned maybe in another book, or could this be speculation?
