Talk:John Wisden
Rename[[edit source]]
I have removed the {{rename}} tag as this is a case where it is acceptable to go beyond what is strictly in the text. As long as the behind the scenes section makes clear that we do not know the name from the source material, we can use the real world first name as a preferable disambiguator to the parenthetical story title. We know contextually that Five is talking about John Wisden; the sentence loses its meaning if he means "old Freddie Wisden from Teaside" or whoever. He's obviously indicating the most famous Wisden of the lot, and the guy who founded Wisden, a publication frequently mentioned in audios and prose.
Remember that the golden rule of disambiguation is to go for the shortest term possible, and that dab policy requires an actual appearance to use the "Name (Story Name)" format. This article cannot possibly be Wisden (Time-Flight), as suggested, because he does not appear in Time-Flight. The simplest disambiguation, therefore, is just to add his known first name and explain that we don't get quite that much from the story.
