Rename Discussion

So the rename tag has been on this article for a couple of months now and since I’ve been giving this particular page a massive overhaul, I thought I’d get the ball rolling on this discussion so to speak.

So to begin with, we’ve got three different pages that share the name Mags. These are:

• Mags (The Greatest Show in the Galaxy) (This Page)
• Mags (Litefoot and Sanders)
• Mags (The Curse of Clyde Langer)

The Mags that this page discusses is a character that has made three appearances so far, with two more scheduled over the coming months. In fact, in the most recent release this month, she actually achieved companion status.

The other two characters however are relatively minor characters within the stories they respectively appear in and are unlikely to be featured again. It’s more likely that someon searching for “Mags” on the wiki will be looking for the character played by Jessica Martin, rather than the Mystic from SJA or the Match Girl from Jago and Litefoot.

So I personally believe that the page should remain simply as Mags, in a similar situation to the discussion had over at Talk:Yasmin Khan.

I propose that no dab term is given to this page and instead a link to a Mags disambiguation page is attached to this page in accordance with Tardis:Disambiguation#Primary_topics.
