Dab term[[edit source]]

Why is this page disambiguated as (The Power of Three)? There is no article at "Orderlies". SnorlaxMonster 11:11, September 26, 2012 (UTC)

I agree. Any objection to a change of title? SmallerOnTheOutside 04:42, December 30, 2012 (UTC)
Even though this page has been moved, my point still stands, since there is no article at "Orderly" either. --SnorlaxMonster 05:19, February 6, 2014 (UTC)
I'm afraid the point doesn't stand. The dab term is required, because, as an ordinary job, it's quite a common name. There are any number of hospital orderlies in the DWU, most of which we've not gotten around to starting articles for. Most of these orderlies, of course, are in books and audios. But even on television, there's another DWU-only orderly: Orderly (Frontios).

A page that doesn't currently exist is generally ignored in cases like this. However, since you have now created the page, there is valid reason to have this page at this title, and a disambiguation page can be created. --SnorlaxMonster 07:57, February 6, 2014 (UTC)
"A page that doesn't currently exist is generally ignored" — that's not entirely true. We do "future-proof" some article names with dab terms, such as common names and job titles. Shambala108 15:19, February 6, 2014 (UTC)
