Template talk:Late Eighth Doctor DWM comics

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Companions[[edit source]]

Of all these little comic templates, this one has the most objectionable use of companions. I mean, c'mon: the narrative point of all the stories until Destrii arrives is that the Eighth Doctor is on his own. You can't call these little one-off guest stars like Penny and Billy companions in any real sesnse. You certainly can't call Frobisher one (neither the Doc or Frobisher recognize each other), nor can you call John and Gillian ones (the point of the story is that they are figments of the imagination; the real Eighth Doc has fallen asleep and is dreaming himself a different person with J & G his decidedly imaginary companions. Thus, I'm re-editing this template to wipe out all those very false "companions". CzechOut | 21:37, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

I agree with all of that except for John and Gillian. "The Land of Happy Endings" has an adventure of a Doctor (not the Doctor) who has them has his companions. --Stardizzy2 00:19, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
