Worldbuilding[[edit]]
- Billy Bandril's puppet show is a joke on how the Bandrils in Timelash are infamously puppets.
- A key plot element is that the Bandril puppeteer remains hidden and the show is a front for their invasion. This was intended by Wink Taylor as a malevolent twist on how "the puppeteers at all times remained firmly hidden" on shows like Sooty and Basil Brush, something that always fascinated him.[1]
- Albert has an iPad.
- Albert takes Lucy to B&Q.
- The Billy Bandril Show is a hit on YouTube.
