Tranquilliser guns, also referred to as tranq guns, were guns which were used to sedate small animals.
Settlers on the planet Sunday carried tranq guns, and Professor Ty Benson used one to capture a Sundayan otter which was under the control of the Swamp monster. (PROSE: Wetworld)
