Cardiff

Cardiff (Welsh: Caerdydd) is the capital and largest city of Wales. Cardiff is also known as a unitary authority located on the south coast of the country. As of 2001, has a population of 305,340 over an area of 140 km². Became a city in 1905 and made capital of Wales in 1955.

History

Spring 2006 - Boom Town

The tardis lands in Cardiff Bay to use the wound of the Time rift to refule. After The Doctor, Rose and Jack meet up with Mickey, the group discover that Margaret Blaine has survived the destruction of 10 downing street in World War Three and is now Lord Mayor of Cardiff. After the group chase her around city hall, Margaret admits to the doctor that she plans to demolish Cardiff Castle and build the Blaidd Drwg (English: Bad Wolf)nuclear power station, blow it up and use a tribophysical waveform macrokinetic extrapolator as a pan-dimensional surfboard to escape the solar system and destroy Earth.
