Sean Connery was a Scottish actor who played the eponymous British secret agent in the James Bond film series during the 1960s and the 1970s. One of his successors in the role was Roger Moore.
On a visit to the Soviet Union in November 1967, Ace anachronistically referred to Moore as the current James Bond during a conversation with her fellow Briton Markus Creevy. Creevy told her that Connery played Bond whereas Moore starred in the television series The Saint. (BFA: Thin Ice)
