Apple-grass was a plant found on New Earth. Though it looked like the grass known to Rose Tyler on Earth, it had a distinct apple scent. (DW: New Earth) The smell of apple grass was one reason many citizens of the undercity, including Cheen, left for the surface on The Motorway. (DW: Gridlock)
