Lucie Miller was the ninth release of the fourth series of The New Eighth Doctor Adventures.

Publisher's summary

'Hello! Doctor, it's me. Lucie. Lucie Miller…'

Lucie Miller needs the Doctor's help. The whole planet Earth needs his help. But he is nowhere to be seen.

While Lucie struggles to survive a terrible sickness, an even greater threat to the human race is about to be unleashed.

And this will be the second Dalek invasion of Earth the Doctor's grand-daughter has had to endure.

'You must accept the reality of your situation. You have been defeated.'

Plot

Only a few decades after, "The Dalek Invasion of Earth" Lucie becomes ill from another plague. It turns out that the invasion is being repeated almost exactly.

Lucie eventually recovers but is left with capplaries and only the sight of one eye. Alex (The Doctor's Great-Grandson), Susan and she work on covert operations with a team of rebels living in submarines, including Sebastian, to overcome the Daleks. Eventually they are on a mission to bomb the mine shaft, which now covers the majority of North America. However the jamming signals they've been using are sabotaged by the Monk who, with Tasmin Drew, is working for the Daleks. Sebastian is killed and the rest of the rebels flee to their submarines.

The Doctor arrives, but is immediately given away by the Monk to the Daleks. The ship he is in, is attacked by Lucie, Susan and Alex's submarine. He sends one message to tell them to pull off the attack, but they cannot and the ship he is in crashes.
