Teleportation

Teleportation was a type of technological or mental transport involving matter being scattered into atoms and reassembled at a different point. A product of teleportation could be entanglement shells collecting in the atmosphere of the planet the exchange took place on. In the far futre humanity utilised teleports for daily life but in the 21st century it was only aliens that possessed such technology. UNIT did create an experimental teleport system called PROJECT INDIGO however it was very unstable and was without coordinates or stabilisation. Some species were boorn with the ability to teleport using their mind such as the Cheetah people and mysterious beings such as the Trickster.

• The people of STO used teleport bracelets to transport from ship to planet without two receiving points.
• The Uvodni used teleports to take children from Earth onto their ship.
• Novice Hame used an unstable teleport bracelet to bring the Doctor to see the Face of Boe.
• The Sontarans used teleport pods to travel from their ship to Earth.
• The Toclafane had teleports built into them.
• The Slitheen used teleports mostly in the form of jewellery such as ear-rings and necklaces.
• On the planet 'The Library'there were teleports used to move between the sections.
• Project Indigo was a teleport resembling a back-pack devolved from Sontaran teleport pods.
• The parallel torchwood developed disc shaped teleports that allowed them to travel between realities or from place to place.
