Guybrush (who drew his nickname from The Secret of Monkey Island) is Benjamin McKenzie of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. A long-time, perhaps even old-school Doctor Who fan, he has written fan fiction, attended conventions and once had a way-too-serious article about the Valeyard published in Sonic Screwdriver, the fanzine of the Victorian Doctor Who Fan Club. He doesn't do those things any more, though he does now host a popular live Doctor Who podcast celebrating the 50th anniversary called Splendid Chaps. His top three Doctors are Troughton, Davison and Smith, though he has a real soft spot for McCoy, Col and McGann, too. (Yeah, he's a "splendid chaps, all of them" kinda guy.) He used to make a lot of contributions to Doctor Who articles on Wikipedia, but stopped when he felt that there was far too much specific Who content there for a general encyclopedia.
