The Robot King was a manufactured robot capable of control over other mechanical device. Production ceased around the 2200’s and the machines were assigned to be scrapped.
Abandoned and left to rust on a junkyard planet, one still retained its consciousness and became bitter towards it former creators and began to eradicate all organic-life-forms taking over the spacecraft that came within range of the planet during the heats of the Space Station Cherry Delta. The Doctor intervened and gave the consciousness of the Robot King a new purpose in life as a re-conditioned toaster. (COMIC: Space Race)
