W. G. Grace

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Revision as of 16:13, 3 April 2013 by CzechOut (talk | contribs) (CzechOut moved page W.G. Grace to W. G. Grace: non-standard lack of space between W. and G.)

W.G. Grace was a famous British cricketer in the early 20th century. Sir Robert Muir compared the Fifth Doctor to him after a cricket game at Cranleigh Hall on 11 June 1925. Sir Robert referred to him as "the Master," which momentarily confused the Doctor as he believed that he was referring to his enemy of the same name. (TV: Black Orchid)
