chartedit source

this article could use a table with such items as main color, skirt ball color, slat color, etc. and any other notes. this could maybe occupy a separate page with a small thumbnail of the Dalek type in question next to the entry. --***Stardizzy*** 11:49, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

Externalsedit source

Why is there only one main section ("Externals")? WHy not another, or is an "Internals" section going to be made? ~ Ghelæ -talk-contribs 16:22, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

Gunsticksedit source

Actualy look closely at the black domed daleks guarding empror dalek in the Parting of the Ways and you'll see that some of them have another gunstick with a large ball on then end, a guild that i own (it is offical) identifys them as "a second even more powerful gun" and they have a regualer gunstalk as well, if my maths is correct thats two gunsticks at the same time, meaning that this article is incorrect, want me to change it? They just look like regular Dalek plungers to me, just switched round on the Dalek casing. What is the name of this source? If it truly is official, you should be able to put the information on the page and source it (I think we might need a new sourcing policy soon though) as "(Insert source name here)" (copy+paste the text between the quote marks and replace "Insert source here" with the name of the source). ~ Ghelæ -talk-contribs 07:19, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

its from a book or rather one in a set of books, called the doctor who files, and it shows a close up of one of the daleks with his extra gun in addition view this picture:

the top lef dalek in this picture has a second larger gunstick instead of a sucker arm, as does the top right one)

here look at the top left dalek, he (it?) has a second more powerful weapon in place of his sucker arm, and it makes sense, he is guarding the emperor, and the more firepower the better.

It's not very clear, and I can't tell for sure. It's proabably better to get a third opinion on the matter. ~ Ghelæ -talk-contribs 17:36, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Doctor who, aliens and enemys also identifys theese daleks as having an extra weapon, is that enough evidence? 144.139.79.120 07:34, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

This toy doesn't hurt either.--Nyktimos 21:16, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Can't we change the name to drone?edit source

Why is this dalek called a standard wiki? Wasn't it refered to as Drone in Victory Of The Daleks? User:Doctorpenguin   09:23, June 30, 2011 (UTC)

Officers vs. Soldiersedit source

Ok, so it HAS been officially confirmed that Steven Moffat wasn't making stuff up when he said that the New Paradigm Daleks are an officer class, and the RTD Daleks are now the drones. Thus, that makes the bronze ones the basic foot soldiers again, so the RTD Daleks and the red Paradigms now have different places on the Dalek hierarchy. So, should we have a separate page or section for them and their red Paradigm superiors? And why did somebody delete all but one picture on the existing page?

Edited, Article name change?edit source

I just edited this page. I performed a cleanup, deleting any information that didn't refer to the New Dalek Paradigm Drones, and referenced the fact that they are now Officer Daleks.

Should we change the articles name to Officer Dalek? Cybermat47 08:34, October 18, 2012 (UTC)Cybermat47

Couldn't there be a way to acknowledge it as both? Like Dalek Drone/Officer or something? 74.12.14.228talk to me 18:10, March 21, 2013 (UTC)

Drone vs. Warrioredit source

This page used to have the information about all (or at least some) of the previous variants of the era-standard "drone/warrior/foot-soldier" Daleks from their entire history, and as far as I know, that information hasn't been moved to another page. Shouldn't it be? Also, I haven't noticed a page for the bronze RTD Daleks either. —BioniclesaurKing4t2 - "Hello, I'm the Doctor. Basically, . . . run." 05:15, April 11, 2013 (UTC)
